Kevin Henderson RHU, LUTCF
I have been in the financial management field since 1987 with the focus on providing holistic management guidance and service for individuals and small businesses.
I’m driven by a single-minded focus: to help my clients reach their individual goals. My vision is to help people navigate their path forward with confidence. I recognize that life is a journey, and I am committed to helping others enjoy each day as they move toward their life goals. My purpose is to ensure today’s goals become tomorrow’s realities.
As an avid outdoorsman and 46er, my hobbies include camping, hiking, hunting and traveling the world with my wife Lynda. I am a past chairman of the Webster/Penfield Ducks Unlimited chapter, a member of Lion’s Club, and a past Assistant Leader for Boy Scout Troop 208 in Fairport, where both my sons, Thomas & Matthew, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
I live in Victor with my wife Lynda and dog Quincy. My older son Thomas joined Henderson Wealth Management in 2017 and graduated from Xavier University with a double major in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing. My younger son Matthew graduated from Northeastern University with a major in computer engineering and currently lives and works in Philadelphia.

I joined Henderson Wealth Management in 2016 as the Marketing Director and have since proudly expanded my role into the firm's second financial advisor. Since then, I have continued to add to the services that Henderson Wealth Management offers with a focus on educational events and newsletters.
I am a strong believer that clients should not have blind faith in their advisor but should be educated to have a strong foundation in financial basics. That way, regardless of what the markets are doing, the client has a better understanding of the theory behind portfolio adjustments and can keep an eye on the big picture, retirement. If I can help a client retire earlier and have a more fulfilling life, then I consider myself successful at my job.
When I am not at the office, I'll be at home taking care of my four cats with my partner, Amber, or out on the racetrack with my friends from PLC Racing, turning laps at some of the most prestigious racetracks in the country from Watkins Glen, Virginia International Raceway, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, just to name some of my favorites.
I am working towards my CFP designation and currently studying for my Registered Principal exam (Series 24). I currently hold the following licenses:
Series 7 General Securities Representative
Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law

I celebrated my 20th anniversary with Higgins Henderson in July 2019 and now am proud to continue my affiliation with Henderson Wealth Management as the Client Services Manager. The financial services industry has been my very rewarding "home" for the past 28 years, assisting advisors, our clients, and providing the operational support needed to meet our client's needs.
I am a native of New Jersey, raised in Metuchen (go Bulldogs), a small commuter town 25 miles west of New York City, and am a graduate of Rutgers University (go Scarlet Knights!). Upstate New York has always been part of my life; my mother grew up on the family dairy and apple farm in Wayne County. We spent plenty of summers there, as well as at my Aunt's cottage on Keuka Lake.
These days my free time is filled spending as much time as possible with our three sons and two grandsons, lots of yard work, entertaining our two rescue dogs, and travel with my husband, Kevin. Our favorite travel involves picking a spot on the map, centrally located to the area we want to explore, booking a hotel room, and heading out to see the sites. That usually involves finding a golf course as well as a National Park with open spaces for us to enjoy. We have covered a lot of ground in the Western U.S. and hope to expand that to other parts of the country and globe when we eventually retire.
For now, I thoroughly enjoy my work, particularly my interactions with Henderson Wealth Management Clients.
